Unlike usual hair treatments where their main functions are to repair/moisturize the hair, Keratin treatments forms a coating around the hair via a process of application and ironing on the hair and can usually last around 2-4 months depending on the type of Keratin Treatment done.
Unlike rebonding where the straightening is permanent, Keratin treated hair might appear straight at the start, but with each washes, the Keratin coating will slowly wear off and at the end of 3-4 months, the hair will return to its original state. The Brazilian Blowout contains a smaller molecule form of a Keratin treatment and higher content of treatment ingredients, thus a soft and more moisturizing result as compared to a Keratin treatment. However, it is not a lasting as a Keratin which can typically last around 4 months, a Brazilian Blowout treatment can only last around 2-3 months.
Although not as lasting as a Tiboli Keratin Treatment, a Brazilian Blowout is usually recommended to customers who have intention to perm / change their hair styles in the near future. Due to the smaller form of Keratin Molecules in Brazilian Blowout, it allows the hair to still be permed after the treatment unlike the Tiboli Keratin Treatment.
